As announced on November 16th, Strukton Groep has sold the Grid Solutions activities of Strukton Systems to SPIE. The transaction was settled on December 31st upon completion of the necessary procedures. The more than 100 employees and related supplier and project contracts have been transferred to SPIE with effect on January 1st 2024.
The sold activities involve new construction, expansion and renovation of high-voltage substations and medium-voltage systems, and service and maintenance activities for mainly regional and national grid operators.
To Strukton, the sale is a logical step in the increased strategic focus on sustainable infrastructure related to railways.
