Manager engineering

As Manager Engineering, you are primarily responsible for the management and output of the Engineering department. You ensure that interfaces between objects and systems are properly managed. Thanks to your efforts, you are able to guarantee the quality and feasibility of our high-voltage projects. You are the technical voice towards other stakeholders and work closely with Project Managers to plan and execute the technical roadmap.

This is how you contribute:

– Supervise, coach and redirect your engineers.
– ultimate responsibility for your department.
– Coordinating with Project Managers and Business Unit Manager on both tactical and strategic levels.
– Providing financial forecasts based on budgets.
– Reporting KPIs and milestones to Business Unit Manager.
– Realising optimal staffing and coordination with supporting staff functions.
– Supervising work distribution (outsourcing) both within and outside the department.
– Establishing, securing and monitoring engineering processes.

– Experience in the high-voltage/energy world.

– You coach your team and have a keen eye for process organisation and efficiency improvements.
