What you're going to do
Together with the team you will be responsible for the development of software and systems for electrical controls for (railbound) vehicles. In this role you will be involved in the design, development, integration and testing of software for electrical controls on board rail vehicles.
You will be part of the enthusiastic and experienced team that develops the control systems for the power converters. Designing control systems, making logic systems to control motors or to supply other loads is the main task. You will experience the project from start to finish. Writing the requirements, making the architecture design, doing the implementation, and assisting with testing in our workshop is all part of your daily tasks. There is a nice balance between theory and practice. During the commissioning phase of the project, you provide support to the colleagues that in the field and help them to make sure that the installation works as designed. When you finish the project, you can be proud of the fact that the power converter behaves exactly like you have designed it.

What we expect from you

For this role we expect you to bring at least this:
– A completed HBO / WO education in the direction of electrical engineering, embedded systems or equivalent field.
– Knowledge of and experience with electrical (high power) installations.
– Knowledge of and experience with Matlab/Simulink.
– Good communication skills (Dutch, English).
– A real team player who does not shy away from a challenge.
Someone who is always focused on quality and results and who knows how to keep an overview.
